Maruti Grand Vitara Engine
Talking about the engine, this new Maruti Grand Vitara comes with three engine options. It gets the first 1.5 liter petrol mild-hybrid engine, which gives a power output of 103 ps. The second 1.5-litre petrol strong-hybrid engine is available, which gives 116 ps power output. The third is a 1.5-litre petrol-CNG engine, which is capable of generating 87.83 ps of power and 121.5 Nm of torque. The mild-hybrid engine will be mated to a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic gearbox. Whereas, only the E-CVT gearbox will be available with the Strong Hybrid engine. The CNG model only gets a 5-speed manual gearbox.
Its top mild-hybrid variant only gets the option of all wheel drive. It gets a mileage of 19.38 km per litre. The Strong Hybrid engine variant returns a mileage of 27.97 kmpl.
