Redmi has officially announced its 300W ultra-fast charging technology. This is the fastest charging technology launched by any mobile company in the market. On February 28, the Realme brand launched the Realme GT3 smartphone with 240W fast charging globally. But before that, Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi has put its technology tech in front of the trust.

300W fast charging technology has been announced by Redmi through the microblogging site Weibo. The company has shared a video showing how much time this charging takes to charge the phone. An English translation of the caption on this Chinese post mentions a '300W Immortal Second Charger'.

Battery fully charged in 5 minutes

In the video shared by Redmi, it has been shown that the Redmi Note 12 Discovery (Explorer Edition) smartphone has been charged with the help of this charging technology. The mobile phone is powered by a 4,100mAh battery which is fully charged after draining.

It took 2 minutes and 11 seconds to charge the phone from 0 to 50 percent when connected to 300W charging. So within 5 minutes this mobile phone was fully charged i.e. 100 percent. So far no device has been charged so fast in the entire smartphone market.

When will it be on the market?

Redmi has introduced a 300W ultra-fast charging solution, but it is not clear when it will be seen in smartphones. The Chinese brand Xiaomi also did not say whether this technology will be inbuilt in the mobile phone or another adapter charger will have to be used to use this technology.

Hopefully Redmi will reveal more about the 300W charging soon. Also, since this technology has been introduced by the Redmi brand, it is more likely to be used in the Redmi Note series. So it is expected that mid-range smartphone customers will soon experience the world's fastest fast charging.
