Mahindra Total Sales Rise 36% To 62,294 Units in April

Mahindra has revealed its sales data for April 2023 for both its passenger and commercial vehicle segments. There has been development on all fronts. From 22,526 units sold in April 2022 to 34,698 units sold in April 2023, a 54 per cent increase in passenger vehicle sales. Total sales for the entire portfolio stood at 62,294 units, representing a year-on-year (YoY) growth of 36 percent.
Mahindra continued to experience difficulties with the supply of semiconductors like every other automaker in India. Even though this shortcoming is not that bad. As much as it was in the last two years, it still has a negative impact on production. Which has led to longer waiting times for some models. Scorpio N and XUV700 have experienced the longest waiting period.
Mahindra Sales Figures for April 2023
A total of 34,698 units were sold in the utility vehicle segment last month, which is 54 per cent higher than the 22,526 units sold in April 2022. Of these sales, utility vehicle sales stood at 34,694, up 57 percent year-on-year. 22,168 units were sold in April 2022. However, sales of cars and vans declined significantly year-on-year, from 358 units sold in April 2022 to just 4 units last month.
LCV 3.5T and MHCV sales in the commercial vehicle segment in April 2023 to grow by over 63 per cent to 1,150 units in April 2023 as compared to 705 units sold in April 2022. Mahindra will introduce the Bolero Max Pik-Up in late April 2023 in the 3.5 tonne LCV market. Its ex-showroom price range is Rs 7.85 to Rs 10.33 lakh. There is also an IMAX-connected solution with over 50 features and a 2,000 kg payload capacity.
Meanwhile, Mahindra 3W sales are expected to grow by 85 per cent to 5,552 units in April 2023 from 3,009 units sold in the same month last year. This figure included the sale of electric three-wheelers. From 2,703 units sold in April 2022, total exports declined by 33 per cent to 1,813 units in the previous month.
Mahindra Bolero crosses one lakh unit sales mile in FY 2023
