Launch OF India's First Geared Electric Bike A Stunning Range OF 125KM in A Single Charge
EV startup Matter has launched India's first geared electric motorbike. This e-bike was first displayed by the company at Auto Expo 2023. Also now it has been introduced in the Indian auto market. The company has introduced this e-bike under the name AERA. It also comes in four variants, including AERA 4000, AERA 5000, AERA 5000+ and AERA 6000+. But currently the price and other information of AERA 4000 and AERA 6000+ is not revealed.
Cost of Matter Aera
According to the company, it is India's first geared electric motorbike. In terms of price, the AERA 5000 electric motorcycle is priced at Rs 1,43,999 and the AERA 5000+ is priced at Rs 1.54 lakh. Also AERA 5000 and AERA 5000+ are currently available for pre-registration on the company's site. Along with Matter AERA, customers will get 3 years or unlimited kilometers warranty and 3 years Roadside Assistant and AMC/Labor coverage company.

Features of Matter AERA 5000 and AERA 5000+
The e-bike comes with two liquid cooled battery pack options, including 5 kWh and 6 kWh. But the 6 kWh battery pack will be available only in the AERA 6000+ model. Currently, the company has not disclosed the range of both these battery packs, but these battery packs can be fully charged in 5 hours or fully top-up in 2 hours with a fast charger.
The Matter AERA 5000 and AERA 5000+ are equipped with a 10 kW electric motor. Power is generated through a Hypershift 4-speed manual gearbox. The company claims that the electric bike can accelerate from 0-60 kmph in 6 seconds.
The AERA features a 7-inch LCD touchscreen with 4G, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity. It also has a smartphone application, which serves to provide users with all the information on their smartphones. It offers four riding modes. It also has a 9-axis Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU).
