Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has increased the prices of two of its best selling scooters in India, Activa and Activa 125. These scooters, which have been able to dominate the scooter market for many years, have now become costlier than before. The price of Activa has been increased by Rs 811 and the price of Activa 125 by Rs 1,177 from the company.

New prices
The starting price of Honda Activa in the Indian market is Rs 75,347 (Ex-showroom). It goes up to Rs 81,348 (ex-showroom). While the price of Activa 125 ranges from Rs 78,920 (ex-showroom) to Rs 86,093 (ex-showroom).
Activa 125 Engine
In Honda Activa 125, the company has given 124 cc, air-cooled engine. Which has the capacity to deliver 8.19 bhp power and 10.4 Nm torque. In the Indian market, it is facing competition from scooters like Suzuki Access 125, TVS Jupiter 125, Yamaha Fascino 125 and Hero Destini 125.

Activa Engine
The Honda Activa is powered by a 109 cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine. This engine generates power of 7.73 bhp and torque of 8.90 Nm. In the Indian market, the Activa competes with scooters like TVS Jupiter, Suzuki Access, Yamaha Ray ZR and Hero Motorcop's Pleasure Plus.
