The company has given a 1.5-liter K15C dual jet petrol engine in the new Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, which comes with a mild hybrid system. It will come with a single starter generator and auto start-stop system. The CNG version of the new Maruti Ertiga facelift will also be available. The CNG variant is currently offered only in the VXI variant. With this update, the ZXi variant will be introduced in the CNG version.
As per media reports, the 1.5L K15C petrol engine will generate 115bhp power and 136Nm of peak-torque. This engine comes with Ideal Start/Stop technology. You also get the option of 5 speed manual and 6 speed torque converter gearbox in Maruti Ertiga MPV. Talking about the mileage, the new Maruti Ertiga will get a mileage of 21 kmpl on petrol.
