Electric Cycle: Now The Government Has Given a Discount of Rs 7500 on Buying An Electric Vehicle
The Delhi government made the first batch of electric bicycle models available under the Electric Vehicle Policy, under which customers will now get a subsidy of up to ₹ 5,500. The capital Delhi will be the first state to give subsidy on cycles as well. The first 1000 passengers who buy e-cycles will get a discount of up to ₹ 2,000. That is, these customers will get a subsidy of up to ₹ 7,500.
According to TOI, the Delhi government has also included electric bicycles in its EV policy. In which customers will get a subsidy of 25% i.e. up to ₹ 5,500. The initial 1000 customers will also get a discount of up to ₹ 2,000.

As per the report, the OEM will get the range certification. But 5 models of Hero Lectro company will get approval under Delhi EV policy. Whose range is 28.5 km to 45 km. Also the price ranges from ₹ 30,999 to 54,999. By the way, subsidy of up to ₹ 5,500 will be available on these models. The first 1000 customers will get this electric scooter from Rs 23,499 to Rs 47,499 with a discount of up to Rs 7,500.
33% discount will be available on the selling price of the Kargo e-cycle as subsidy. This is limited to ₹15000. Scrapping as old ICE vehicles will also get an additional scrapping incentive of up to ₹ 3,000.
