Citroen eC3: Citroen India has launched its much awaited electric car Citroen eC3 EV hatchback. The company has also revealed the price of this Citroen eC3 electric car in India. The look is similar to the company's Citroen C3 petrol version. Specializing in the electric version of the C3 hatchback, it gets a 29.2kWh battery pack that gives a range of 320KM. Citroën eC3 with attractive looks and a powerful electric motor has a starting price of Rs 11.50 lakh. Interestingly, this car looks exactly like the petrol (ICE) powered variant, its top variant is priced at Rs 12.43 lakh. The company has already started the booking of this car, for which a booking amount of Rs 25,000 has to be deposited. Currently, bookings are being made in 25 cities of the country.

Information about the Citroen eC3

The eC3 hatchback offers a host of great features, including a 10.2-inch infotainment system, dual airbags and driving modes. The Citroen electric hatchback will compete with the recently launched Tata Tiago EV in India, which gets a range of 315KM. As mentioned above, the Citroen eC3 resembles its ICE-powered sibling, the French automaker's C3 hatchback. It features a sleek grille with Citroën logo and semi-crossover design.

It gets a ground clearance of 170mm. Also, the Citroen eC3 has a 29.2kWh battery pack. Along with this, there is an electric motor that delivers 57hp of peak power and 143Nm of peak torque. The EC3 offers an ARAI-certified range of 320 km and has two driving modes Eco and Standard. The company claims that the eC3 can accelerate from 0 to 60 kmph in just 6.8 seconds. The top speed of this e-car is 107 kmph. The EC3 adopts DC fast charging which can charge the car from 10 to 80 percent in 57 minutes.

The eC3 gets a 10.2-inch touchscreen for the infotainment system, with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 4 speakers, connectivity through the MyCitroen Connect app. The French automaker will also offer a 7-year/1,40,000-km warranty on the battery pack, 5-year/1,00,000-km warranty on the electric motor and 3-year/1,25,000-km warranty on the car.
