Roads Will Be Widened in These 13 Districts of Bihar, Know The Names of The Districts included in The List

The 13 districts to be benefited from this project are Supaul, Araria, Saran, Siwan, Buxar, Nawada, Gaya, Bhojpur, Madhubani, Sitamarhi, Banka, Bhagalpur and Muzaffarpur. The Bihar State Road Development Corporation Limited will oversee the construction of these roads, which are expected to be completed by 2026. The objective of this project is to enhance the traffic system in these districts. And the project is currently awaiting approvals at various levels.

Roads will be built in these districts

According to sources, the width of the road going from Ganpatganj to Parwa Path of SH-92 in Supaul and Araria districts will be increased by about 53 km. In addition, about 71.6 km of Manjhi-Darauli Guthni road will be widened in Saran and Siwan districts. The Brahmapur-Kuranasarai-Itrahi-Ujiarpur road comes under Buxar district.

The width of NH-82 will be increased in about 41.6 km length

In addition, NH-82 Vanganga-Jethian-Gahlor-Bhindus (NH-82) road will be widened to a length of about 41.6 km in Nawada and Gaya districts. Similarly, the width of Ara-Ekauna-Khaira Sahar road in Bhejpur district will be increased by about 32.3 km. In addition, Madhubani-Rajnagar-Babubarhi-Khutauna Path, Sitamarhi and Sitamarhi-Pupri-Benipatti roads in Madhubani district will see an increase in width of about 51.35 km in length.

Construction of bridge and adjacent road

Apart from this, a bridge and an approach road will be built at a high level over the Bagmati river between Athar-Babhangwan in Muzaffarpur district, as well as the Dhauraiya-English More-Asarganj road in Banka and Bhagalpur districts, which will be about 58 km long.
