From March 4th to 6th, rainfall is predicted at isolated places in Maharashtra. Due to unseasonal rains, the crops will be hit and the farmers will suffer huge losses.
A combination of easterly winds and troughs of north-south clouds and moist winds from the Arabian Sea moving southwest towards northwest India but diverting towards north Maharashtra is likely. Due to this, cloudy weather will remain from March 4 to 8 and there is a possibility of unseasonal rain. Due to the influence of Western Cyclone, light to moderate rain and snowfall is expected in some states of North India. Due to this, the areas of South Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat and North Konkan will be affected. According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, Dhule, Nandurbar, Jalgaon Nashik districts are likely to experience light showers with thundershowers on Saturday and Sunday. Meanwhile, light showers are also likely in Aurangabad and Jalna in Marathwada on Sunday and Monday.

Vidarbha is likely to have the effect of rain everywhere. Thunderstorm and light showers at isolated places are likely over Nagpur, Wardha, Chandrapur, Amravati, Akola and Buldhana on March 5. Partly cloudy weather is likely to prevail in Palghar district from 4th to 6th March with light showers at isolated places.
