IMD weather: These days, the weather patterns are changing rapidly across the country, due to which there is a rise in the temperature and at some places it is raining with thunderstorms. Due to the rise in temperature in the country's capital Delhi and surrounding areas, people felt cold due to snowfall in the hilly areas in the morning.

Rain and thundershowers were recorded in many areas of South India, due to which the temperature dropped significantly. It was sunny in many parts of western UP and Haryana. Meanwhile, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a warning of heavy rain with thunder in many areas of the country.

There will be heavy rain in these areas

According to IMD, a warning has been issued for thunderstorms in many areas of the country. There is a possibility of lightening and thundershowers in East India during the next 24 hours. There is a possibility of rain in the western Himalayan parts for the next two days till March 14.

The weather pattern is likely to change significantly in the mid-tropospheric levels in the westerly winds from North Bihar to Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha, Telangana and North Karnataka. In West Bengal and Sikkim and Jharkhand, a warning of rain accompanied by thunder, lightning and strong winds and thunder has been issued. After this, light rain and thundershowers are likely to occur over Western Himalayan regions till March 15 and Rajasthan on March 13 and 14.

It will also rain with hail

According to IMD, a warning of rain along with lightning has been issued in Uttarakhand on 13th and 14th. Along with this, on 12th and 13th in many areas, rain with lightning can be seen in Jammu, Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan and Muzaffarabad. The weather may worsen in Himachal Pradesh on 13th and 14th and Rajasthan on 13th March. Till March 18, rain can be recorded in the central, eastern and southern areas of the country.
